Objective
Position facilitators as trusted guides who empower workers to transform their careers and strengthen community connection by hosting and promoting National Apprenticeship Week events.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Host an interactive "Apprenticeship Showcase & Demo" on job sites where trade apprentices demonstrate specialized skills to high school students and community members.
• Organize a "Pass the Mic" storytelling lunch-and-learn where veteran tradespeople share how mentorship and apprenticeship pathways transformed their careers.
• Launch a digital "Apprentice Spotlight" social media takeover featuring daily video interviews with local apprentices to highlight career opportunities.
• Coordinate a collaborative community service project pairing experienced contractors with apprentices to build structures for local non-profit organizations.
