Objective
Empower military veterans to overcome civilian career transition hurdles by serving as trusted guides through targeted hiring events, helping them secure meaningful employment and driving organizational strength.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Partner with local military installations and veteran service organizations (e.g., Hiring Our Heroes, DAV) to co-host specialized job fairs both on-site and virtually.
• Establish a "Veteran Mentorship & Apprenticeship" track that pairs transitioning service members directly with experienced trade leaders during career events.
• Host interactive resume-translation workshops during events to help veterans effectively map their specialized military skills to construction management and trade roles.
• Create dynamic "Day in the Life" hands-on simulation booths at job fairs to give veteran candidates direct experience with modern jobsite technology and equipment.
