Objective
Empower community job seekers by guiding them through career opportunities at local library presentations, providing clear pathways to employment while building a strong pipeline of local talent for the organization.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Partner with public libraries to host interactive trade and career showcases featuring hands-on equipment demonstrations and virtual reality site tours.
• Organize "Resume & Blueprint" workshops where industry professionals provide one-on-one resume reviews and application guidance to community job seekers.
• Set up a mobile career information kiosk in library foyers during Construction Inclusion Week to distribute bilingual trade pathway guides and schedule introductory interviews.
• Host a live panel discussion featuring local trade apprentices who share their personal career journeys and answer questions from aspiring job seekers.
