Objective
Partner with local non-profits to empower prospective candidates to overcome career barriers and step into fulfilling roles within the company, driving community impact and talent acquisition.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Host a community career workshop on-site during Construction Inclusion Week in partnership with local trade non-profits to offer resume building and mock interviews.
• Organize a "Day in the Life" job shadowing event pairing non-profit participants with company mentors to showcase diverse career pathways in construction.
• Launch a joint community service project where employees and non-profit candidates collaborate on a local build project to foster connections and evaluate talent.
• Set up a dedicated non-profit networking roundtable event connecting hiring managers directly with community organizers to streamline candidate referrals.
