Objective
Empower local job seekers to overcome employment barriers by hosting engaging community career fairs that guide candidates toward fulfilling positions while building a strong talent pipeline for the organization.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Organize an "On-Site Trades Expo" during Construction Inclusion Week, inviting local trade schools, apprenticeships, and diverse subcontractors to connect directly with local job seekers.
• Host interactive "Pathway Workshops" on job sites to offer free resume reviews, mock interviews, and career coaching for underrepresented workers in the community.
• Partner with local community organizations to offer a "Jobsite Shadowing Day" that introduces high school students and career-changers to construction careers.
• Launch a "Talent Referral Showcase" where existing crew members are encouraged and rewarded for connecting qualified local candidates from diverse backgrounds to open positions.
