Objective
Empower employees to identify and manage fatigue by providing clear education, practical tools, and proactive support to ensure a safer, healthier workplace and improve retention.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Host a 15-minute morning stand-down focused on personal fatigue limits, incorporating a brief self-assessment checklist before high-risk tasks.
• Distribute reusable water bottles printed with warning signs of heat exhaustion and cognitive fatigue to all field workers.
• Create a peer "Buddy Check" system during high-intensity shifts so workers actively look out for signs of exhaustion in one another.
• Hang visual fatigue awareness posters featuring quick-relief stretching exercises near break rooms and site trailers.
• Launch a digital micro-learning module on sleep hygiene accessible via QR codes printed on site hard-hat stickers.
