Objective
Empower team members to overcome isolation and build meaningful connections by facilitating shared volunteer experiences that unite the team around a common purpose and strengthen workplace community.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Organize a "Community Connection Build" where field and office teams collaborate on a hands-on service project supporting local neighborhood housing or community centers.
• Partner with local trade schools and youth programs to host a "Future Builders Day," bringing students to active job sites for mentorship and career exploration.
• Establish a "Storytelling & Service Stand-Down" on site where workers share personal community impact stories before participating in a joint local volunteer drive.
• Create a cross-company "Impact Challenge" pairing trade partners and general contractors to complete community improvement micro-projects during the week.
