Objective
Guide team members through friendly, competitive team challenges to help them break down internal silos and foster collaboration, ultimately creating a connected and high-performing workforce.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Divide field and office staff into cross-functional teams to compete in a jobsite-inspired "Teamwork Challenge," where members complete communication and problem-solving puzzles together during daily Toolbox Talks.
• Host a "Cross-Department Trade Relay" featuring non-physical, trade-knowledge and safety challenges designed to require input from different specialties to succeed.
• Set up interactive "Inclusion Wall" scoreboards in breakrooms or trailers where teams log daily peer-appreciation shout-outs to earn bonus competition points throughout the week.
• Run a site-wide "Silo Breaker Scavenger Hunt" where participants partner with colleagues from different sub-trades or departments to complete trivia on company diversity and inclusion pillars.
