Objective
Empower students to overcome career uncertainty by hosting interactive skilled trades demonstrations that guide them toward fulfilling vocational paths and secure a strong future talent pipeline.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Host hands-on "Try-a-Trade" interactive stations during Construction Inclusion Week where students practice basic carpentry, electrical wiring, or plumbing tasks alongside experienced pros.
• Setup virtual reality trade simulation booths at local high schools to let students safely test their skills operating heavy equipment and structural welding.
• Organize a "Build Your Future" mentorship day where underrepresented trade leaders guide students through building a small collaborative project on-site.
• Launch a mobile skilled trades trailer equipped with interactive machinery models to visit regional high schools and offer live, guided demonstrations.
