Objective
Guide students through an interactive construction day experience to bridge early career awareness gaps and inspire a new generation of industry recruits.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Set up hands-on building stations where students collaborate using wooden blocks or foam bricks to construct miniature structures.
• Host a "PPE & Trade Tools" interactive booth where students can try on hard hats, safety vests, and learn about diverse roles in the industry.
• Invite trade professionals from varied backgrounds to lead storytime readings focused on engineering, teamwork, and building.
• Facilitate a collaborative "Dream Neighborhood" blueprint drawing activity where children design inclusive spaces for their community.
