"We are a part of the construction industry, we are not separate from it." — Alison Victoria
Objective
Empower female construction professionals to overcome industry challenges by pairing them with experienced mentors who provide guidance and support, enabling them to build fulfilling careers and driving long-term retention.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Pair entry-level female professionals with executive-level mentors for monthly "Reverse Mentorship" coffee chats to share both career navigation advice and field perspectives.
• Establish a "Women in Field Operations" peer circle that meets bi-weekly during jobsite stand-downs to discuss site-specific challenges and solutions.
• Launch a cross-company mentorship exchange during Construction Inclusion Week, connecting participants with female leaders from trade partners and general contractors.
• Host quarterly skill-building workshops led by senior female leaders, focusing on negotiation, field leadership, and navigating non-inclusive jobsite dynamics.
