Objective
Guide emerging project leaders through peer collaboration and structured dialogue to help them overcome leadership hurdles and step into confident, influential roles.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Pair junior leaders with executive sponsors for monthly 30-minute reverse-mentoring sessions focused on identifying leadership barriers on active job sites.
• Host quarterly "fishbowl" panel discussions during site lunches where emerging leaders present solutions to real-world project communication challenges to senior management.
• Establish a "peer coaching circle" where rising leaders use Construction Inclusion Week reflection guides to swap feedback on navigating difficult project conversations.
• Create a cross-company "Leadership Exchange" event inviting emerging leaders from trade partners to share best practices on fostering psychological safety in field teams.
