Empower apprentices to celebrate their achievements and transition into skilled careers by hosting impactful graduation ceremonies that validate their hard work and inspire continued growth.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Partner with local trade unions to co-host a ceremonial "Passing of the Hard Hat" event, formally welcoming graduating apprentices into their journey as full-fledged journeypeople.
• Conduct a interactive "Future Mentors" workshop during the ceremony, encouraging new graduates to pledge time toward guiding the next generation of diverse apprentices.
• Invite community leaders and local high school students to attend the graduation, using the event as an inspirational showcase of viable non-academic career pathways.
