Empower apprentices to navigate their early career challenges by facilitating engaging networking events that foster peer connections, professional growth, and long-term career success.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Host a "Speed Networking" breakfast session on job sites where experienced craftspeople and leaders give apprentices quick 5-minute career advice and insights.
• Organize a "Peer Shadow Day" allowing apprentices from different trades or projects to spend a day learning alongside one another.
• Create an "Apprentice Voice" panel during safety stand-downs to give early-career workers a platform to share their onboarding experiences and ideas.
• Launch a digital "Apprentice Directory & Connection Hub" on the company portal to help apprentices easily connect with peers and mentors across regions.
