Provide employees and their families with a welcoming environment to connect and recharge during the summer family picnic, reinforcing work-life integration and deepening organizational loyalty to boost retention.
Facilitation Strategies:
• Host a "Family & Work-Life Balance" field day lunch on the jobsite featuring catered meals and interactive family-friendly games.
• Launch a "Work-Life Integration Story Board" where employees pin photos and share stories of their families and personal passions.
• Organize a peer-to-peer appreciation station where workers send handwritten "Thank You" cards to colleagues and their support systems at home.
• Host a Construction Inclusion Week toolbox talk focused on personal wellbeing, stress management, and local family support resources.
