Helmets to Hardhats
Helmets to Hardhats (H2H) is a national program that connects transitioning active-duty military service members, veterans, National Guard and Reservists with skilled training and quality career opportunities in the construction industry. The program was created by the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment and Veterans Employment; a 501(c)(3) nonprofit joint labor-management driven entity. The program is designed to help military service members successfullytransition back into civilian life by offering them the means to secure a quality career in the construction industry.

Direct Apprenticeship Placement
Candidates are placed directly into multi-year,
federally registered union apprenticeship programs where participants earn wages and
scheduled pay raises while completing training.
GI BILL
UTILIZATION
Helmets to Hardhats also guides participants in applying GI Bill educational benefits to supplement their income during the apprenticeship period. Learn More.
DISABLED VETERANS PROGRAM
A specialized programmatic branch connects disabled veterans with modified positions across trade unions and construction management.
